Fiduciary, Corporate Services Firm Bolsters Singapore Presence With Acquisition

, a Switzerland-based firm which provides multi-jurisdictional corporate and bespoke fiduciary services, has acquired Singapore-based TAO Trust Group Pte as part of an expansion in the Asia city-state.

The acquisition means Alpadis Group in Singapore has incorporated TAO’s employees, increasing its headcount by 13 individuals, and will be led by current group’s chief executive, Alain Esseiva.

“We have seen sustained growth in demand for our services that allow companies to navigate the increasingly complex and regulated markets in Asia and globally, while benefitting from jurisdictions such as Singapore, that offer stability,” Essevia said in a statement. 

In 2009 Alpadis Group entered the Singapore market (the firm was originally founded in 2005). Clients include high net worth individuals and companies. TAO Trust Group has operated since 2008.
